Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email, phone number, company, and payment details when you create an account or contact us.

We also collect information automatically when you use the Service, including call recordings and transcripts, caller phone numbers, call metadata (date, time, duration), and usage data such as pages visited and features used. We may collect limited technical data like IP address, browser type, and device information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide, operate, and maintain the Service; (b) process payments and manage your account; (c) improve call quality and our AI models; (d) communicate with you about updates, support, and marketing (you may opt out of marketing at any time); (e) detect, prevent, and address fraud or security issues; (f) comply with legal obligations.

3. Call Recordings & Transcripts

Because our Service processes voice calls, we may record and transcribe calls handled by your AI agents. These recordings and transcripts are used to provide the Service, improve accuracy, and support compliance. You are responsible for complying with all applicable call-recording consent laws (including two-party consent states) before recording any call. We retain call data according to your plan's retention settings and applicable law.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: (a) service providers who help us operate the Service (such as payment processors and cloud hosting), under contracts that require confidentiality; (b) authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety; (c) a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect functionality.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (such as for tax or call-recording compliance).

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@murs-ai.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

9. U.S. State & International Privacy Laws

If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, or another state with privacy laws, you may have additional rights as described above. If you are in the EU, UK, or other region with data protection laws, we process your information under a lawful basis such as contract performance or legitimate interests, and you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will also notify you by email or in-app message.
